Is Gordon Brown Racist or Just Afraid of Being Seen as Pale Faced?

May 8, 2009

Downing Street it appears deliberately darkens the skin colour of people with black or brown skin.

I can not tell if this is done because Gordon Brown is actually racist or whether it is done because he is scared he will look pale and ill besides those with darker skin colours. The Most obvious of this is with John Atta Mills. The photo shop fail in the picture is obvious and awful. Whoever “shopped” it has apparently given President Mills claw hands.

So why would Downing Street do that? Gordon Brown is an ugly spud.. no matter ugly you make the other person in the picture, Gordon brown will still be uglier.

The pictures are the official pictures from the Downing Street FlickR account. You can compare the contrast used when Brown is photographed against black people.

Given the embarrassment caused to Hillary Clinton when one of her team darkened the image of Barack Obama during the US Election Primaries, is this another reason for Gordon to go?

President Sulieman with A Dinner Jacket, looking decidedly less Brown.
Ahmadinejad and Michel Suleiman

Contrast this with the picture of Brown and the Belgian Prime Minister, Herman Van Rompuy – very good lighting, no image darkening, uploaded on the same day as the picture of President Sulieman

Rompuy
